Five for Friday

A big thank you to Doogle Bugs Teaching for hosting Five for Friday.

The biggest talk around our house this week is Jeff going to the 2014 ISC Worlds Fastball Tournament.  For most of the week we have been at the ball diamonds.  Our daughter could not be more proud of her daddy.  She was so proud of him she hid his admissions bracelet so she could show her friends at camp.  After some frantic searching around the house we finally discovered it hidden in her backpack.

Jeff's baseball week became a family affair. Although we don't see Jeff's family as much as we would like, we love them lots.  Libby got this shot of our daughter chatting it up with her Aunt Nancy.

We are excited to share one of our new products with you.  Our Gym Circuit activities is ready to help ease you into teaching Phys. ed class.

Here is an example of one on the several posters included in the package.

We recently have tried to teach our daughter what a social conscience looks likes. When you do a good thing for others then good things shall come along for you. She has been fascinated with the legacy of Terry Fox and his efforts to raise funds and awareness for Cancer research. This year we decided to take part in our local Terry Fox run. In a few weeks we will be lacing up our shoes in participating in the 5 KM run/walk. She is already very excited about it.

Oh the power of social media! Earlier in the week we did a review of a great book "Thank you, Aunt Tallulah!" by Carmela LaVinga Coyle. If you haven't had a chance to read this book we highly recommend it. Here is our review of it as well. Anyhow, wouldn't you know it through the power of Twitter the author of this household/classroom favourite saw our review, retweeted it, and even started following us. I am not sure this Internet thing will catch on ;)
